Does anyone know of a body shop in Long Beach or Huntington Beach, CA, that specializes in British cars? I want to have my TR6 painted and want to find a qualified shop. Thanks.

First of all - welcome!

I am also in Lake Forest BTW.

I am not sure of a shop that specializes in LBC, but you can give Walt a call at Britalia and ask. We can also ask the local TR club guys for ideas if that doesn't work.

What kind of job are you aiming for? Panels all coming off or having it sprayed assembled?

It does no matter if the shop has experience with British cars. Instead look for a shop that does restoration work. The number of classic cars, or rods in their shop tells you how others feel about their work.

I would stay away from the collision repair guys, as they tend to be volume shops, with less attention to detail.
