Well let me tell you I am glad that it is done. What a chore! It looks better in real life than it does in the pics. Once I sand it and wax it, it will look even better still. My goal was to have car that looks okay at 20 feet. (Before I painted, my car was looking kinda bad on Google Earth.) I feel like I succeeded in that endeavor. I think the rally stripes are going to really bring the look home. I know flat black is not to everyone's taste, but it makes me happy. The amount of body and prep work needed to give it a "real" paint job is beyond my skill, patience, time and budget right now. This paint job should keep the car from rusting out from under me while I drive the crap out of it for the next 5 years or so until such time as I can pay someone else to paint the car for me.
