Painting Healy MK II engine compartment

My car is currently painted red in the engine compartment and even the block and valve cover are painted red. I know the valve cover should be Healy green, but does anyone know if the block and engine compartment were painted to match the exterior?

Thanks

As an owner, you shouldn't be mis-spelling Healey; there are enough people that don't know any better doing it all the time.

While we're at it, plural of "Healey" is "Healeys". That's right, no apostrophe. Plurals are made in English the vast majority of the time by adding an "s". (Horse, horses). Sometimes by "-ies". (Pony, ponies). Sometimes with something else. (Elf, elves). NEVER with an apostrophe. Apostrophes are for possessives or contractions.

Possessive, that is the "seats of my Healey", is "Healey's". ("My Healey's seats"). If you have more than one Healey, it's (contraction for "it is"!) "Healeys'". (My two Healeys' seats).
Contraction for "Healey" "My Healey is running great" is "Healey's" as in "My Healey's running great".

Done.

Worse than "Healy" in my opinion is "Aston Healy". Almost as bad is (OT) Alpha Romeo or Alpha Romero (used to love that one when I owned a '71 1750 Spider).

Well Bill, I'm very possessive of my Healey.

While we're at it folks, it's "gauge" not "guage."

As to your original question, my 1960 MK I has an original engine bay and it is Colorado Red like the exterior.

You did that on purpose!

At least we know you have a sense of humor (or mischief)
