TR2/3/3A Painting floor pans

I'm in the process of removing my drivers side floor pan for some rusted holes (TR3A). I'm wondering what peoples thoughts are as far as painting the underside of the new pan. I know I'm going to need some weld through primer on some spots, but I would like to protect the bottom as best I can. I've seen people saying bedliner, chassis paint, tractor paint, etc. Was wondering if anyone had a good thought on what would work well. And while i'm here, any thoughts on painting the interior? Thanks

Hello Josh

My TR3A had new floor pans in it when I got the car. I sand blasted back to bare metal then painted 2 coats of POR15 inside and outside. After that I primed and top coated. Sand blasting the new panel may have been overkill but I was blasting everything else so why not.
If you use POR15 do not get any on your hands as it is very hard to get it off. Disposable gloves and plenty of disposable brushes.

I am in the middle of a body off restoration that was started by the PO 25 years ago.

I used POR 15 as well. I then removed the paint in places where I was going to weld. I figured that I still had 99% of the panel covered. I have since primered over the POR 15. I was told to use a scratch pad on the POR 15 prior to the primer coat.
