I am restoring a 1980 MGB and am thinking about painting tne bumpers body color. Th car is now red which was painted over orange. I will be taking it to bare metal and going back with BRG.

I really think it comes down to prep - basically it is just like the rubber bumper cover/finish on any new car - my daughter's VW got hit and clearly they didn't prime it properly because it is peeling now - so, guess my summer project.
