Preparing to put my engine together..where do I get color correct olive green (bugeye) engine paint in pint cans. Know about Moss in the spray cans.. Trying to make the paint stay on the engine abit longer than doing the spray can route.. Hirsh doesn't have.. anyone have a color code of some type.. some company that could match a oil pan correct paint color..

The cans of engine paint that I got from Paul are labeled as:
"Sherwin Williams 5A-0127-B Engine Green"
Don't know if that will help

I used Moss paint with a high temp clear coat. No problems thus far.

I used the POR-15 on my 948 and it is very close to the original green.

It could be big healey, but looks closer to Sprite to me. They even offer a kit with the POR-15 silver or black undercoat and all the prep stuff for just over $50.00.
