Paint Question...

After being in the paint shop of a friend for almost a year (long story, but worth it), my '78 Midget is once again its original factory color of Brooklands Green. I removed everything removable from the car and had the whole car media blasted beforehand. My question is this: What is the recommended black color along the bottom of the car? I don't believe it's glossy, nor is it flat black (at least I don't remember it being that way). Can anyone describe the proper paint to be used here? I'll try to get some pics up once I get the rebuilding process underway. Thanks a million!

Semi-gloss black, believe it or not. You can buy it from a paint distributor, or you can put a small amount of flatting agent in gloss black. Or, it also comes in rattle cans, such as Krylon.
