Paint for fiberglass pool slide?

Since British car owners are clever blokes and have a lot more experience repairing things than most, I always figure this forum is a good resource for any type of advice. My parents need their swimming pool slide repainted for the annual summer onslaught of grandkids. Anyone have any experience or suggestions? My dad was given the name of the Ramuc company, but they seem so specialized that the nearest store that sells their paint is 54 miles away. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

Just found an article that recommended marine gel coat, which makes sense.

Yes West Marine. I used Interlux Brightside for my B/E Hard Top. Since it is not a large piece you might look for a two part epoxy topside paint for additional hardness. Roll and tip it. It will look great. You would only need gel coat if you are repairing cracks. Here is how to do that BCF

john-mc, i agree with checking out west marine, you may know this but as a word of caution, please dont allow anyone adult or otherwise to slide down that thing head first!, as in the case of my former father-in-laws best friend, broken necks have been the result.
