Painting granddaughters room today, Sigh. I'd rather be home working on Miss Agatha.

Light pink of all things, she is a very precocus four and is the youngest, oldest is 18.

mehheh... "You VOLUNTEERED for this duty, Bub!" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Trimied out now, what a nasty job. No fun at all.

I can't stand painting.

However, we have twins on the way (January arrival) and my wife has been on strict Dr.'s orders not to paint. I spent one weekend putting up wainscoting (bead board?) in the nursery and another a few weeks ago painting per the wife's specs. Even though it was miserable work, and I have a mile long to-do list on my MG, I still managed to enjoy it since it was being done in the spirit of our growing family.

Of course the room took two coats of everything - all three colors.

I'll do almost anything around the house except HVAC installation & painting!

Doc, I got volunteered. SHMBO told me how it was going to be. Four hours for that job then a nice nap.

I've gone through every room in this house twice since 86...and I am sooo tired of anything that has to do with home reno....But I refuse to pay someone to do something half as good as I would do it myself. So now I take it reeaaaal slow, I took 7 months to do our master bedroom(started last febuary, finished August) I am a bit of a perfectionist with this kinda stuff.....

heh. I'm still sloggin' along with tile flooring. Two rooms left... and kitchen cabinetry... and LR "L" shaped couch... the extension to the back for HER laundry room/sewing room...

It will *never* be "finished". *sigh*
