Hello everyone. Does anyone have the paint code for the black colour on a 1980 MGB.
Thank you.
Dave.

Thanks JP. I know I am a little slow on the uptake sometimes so I don't think I understand the chart well. Am I right by saying the second column from the left is the different codes based on the suppliers just above it. Are all the letters and numbers in red the codes. I do recognize the DITZ 9000 number. I think I used that before. Is that a code for the black. So just for my education, are all the ones in red different codes? And what is the BLBK 1 in the 1st column that is printed in red. Thanks for the help. Dave.

I presume all the letters/numbers are codes. I would suggest you print the whole thing (the black) and bring it to your paint supplier and let them sort it out.

I've found over the decades that Ditzler (PPG) are the closest to original.

Thanks everyone. Yeh, you can't beat PPG. But I have used others with good results as well.

PPG=the best paint! I do find that their library of colors is extensive. They will phone the main office and sort the codes out for you....go to a Platinum dealer is your first step.

The only other system for me would be Valspar. Have had good results with their products as well.
