Durn, Dale!!

Looks JUST LIKE ONE!!!

and Doc, I saw a brit car that looks at least as "dated" as the SP...a Peerless. Flexi fibreglass, lever activated 1/2 down windows, and the cutest tail fins. Never saw one close up...not sure I was missing anything.

here's a shot of the new trany and steering rig

and be sure to notice the classy 1920's auuuughaaa horn nestled in the nose. My backup noisemaker.

Very Cool. Are you going to paint some bright orange flames on her?

That's a thought...but wouldn't the orange clash with the aubergine??

Saw a pic of an SP recently on some website where they had painted a sort of cove on the side of the front fender sloping back into about 1/3 of the door. Really bad. Hate it when someone destroys the natural beauty and stly sense of the SP.

:savewave:

Hey Dart, I just looked at the forum pictures and I did not see any Egg Plant in there. Ain't U planted em yet??---Keoke- :confuse:

to the long term facility where car #100849 has been living since 2006. There has been progress; early summer looks like a possibility. I'll post a pic if I can remember how.

British Car Day?

If not, Brits Invade Gettysburg?

John- Gettysburg, like the Hershey Hillclimb, is history. Lilypons is a good possibility; I'll probably show up anyway in the red driver if the resto isn't finished. :driving:

Doc- one of the Peerless features is the way the door seams open up a 1/2 inch if the jacking point isn't selected with great care. At least my Tupperware specials have a little rigidity. :jester:

Here's where the plants will go; special grow light in the horn tube.

Hmmm.... I heard that Brits Invade Gettysburg is coming back this year after a two-year hiatus. Maybe I got bad info.

Hope to see you again at Lilypons at any rate.

Edit: My spies are right. https://www.lancomgclub.com/big.htm

July 12. See you there.
