"Paddy Power" video - well worth watching!

Great video!

Love it. I especially like the vintage footage at the end, but the best part for me is the sound of the car. There is nothing quite like the sound of a six cylinder Healey at full song. That is what I am most looking forward to when I get my car finished.

I wonder if the challenger knew that when Paddy races, he does it for "pinks?" He kept going!

Very cool ! Like Hugh said above, nothing sounds as glorious as a Healey straight 6 when it's angry !!!

Back in the late 1960's my local motor club managed get Paddy along to give a talk. He was amazing, had real technical knowledge (which helped me improve the handling of my Mk1 Sprite) but he was also very very amusing. He told the story of when he got a works drive with Roots and was doing the Circuit of Ireland in a Sunbeam Rapier. At a stop in a Dublin car park some mates asked him to show what he could do now he was a works driver. He hammered the Rapier across the car park, threw a massive hand brake turn and rolled the car. He told the story much better than me.

Those were from Castrol films. When I was in my college sports car club, I was responsible for getting films to show at our meetings. Castrol and Shell were reaaly good about sending these things out. One of my favorites still is "Mountain Legend", from the 1965 Targa Florio and coincidentally features ARX 91B. Well worth a watch:
