*"50 Years of Spridgets" June, 26-29, 2008*
*
Only 4 weeks left before Registration Fee goes up!!*

Your fellow Spridgeteers are very busy pulling the big event together and the excitement level is really building! We want to remind you that *you only have until May 23rd to reserve your hotel room* at the *Inn at Grand Glaize *at our special room rate! Don't get left out! There isn't much space left at the event headquarters hotel. Call now for your reservation!
*1-800-348-4731
*
The Special Limited Edition Cloisonne' and Gold Plate Grille Badges are in and they are absolutely stunning! We do want to remind everyone that these are only available to those who register for the event. We fully expect to sell out of these beautiful badges so don't delay, get your registration and
your badge order in now at the *Sprite - Midget Club USA
*website<https://www.sprite-midgetclub.org>.

Remember that event registration goes from $50 per car up to $75 per car after June 1st !! Don't get caught having to pay the higher price!

Photographers are ready to do individual portraits of you and your car in the scenic Ozarks as well as a group panoramic photo and a DVD video of the mass drive coming through the "S" bends of some of the best Spridgetly roads in the country!!

Do it yourself road tours are available from the registration table and in the hospitality area. These tours will take you through your choice of wineries, caves, breakfast, Historic Route 66 - the Mother Road and the terrific Ozark scenery and twisty roads! Even more fun will be the digital photo scavenger hunt! See how many clues you can solve and how many
locations you can drive to and get pictures of you and your car to prove you were there! Whoever finds the most locations and things will get a nice trophy plaque!

Speaking of trophy plaques... all 46 of them, are being made as we speak and they are really beautiful as well. Door prizes are rolling in from all over with some really nifty stuff up to be given away. We'll be giving away some
of Peter Caldwell's rebuilt shocks and Peter himself will be doing a tech session on rebuilding your spridget shocks. *Victoria British* has jumped in to support the event with door prizes, give aways and sponsorship for the commemorative program. Frank Clarici will be doing a tech session on
rebuilding carbs and he has also donated a beautiful set of his famous rebuilds for some lucky soul! Also, David Lieb is already working on a new Spridgets Calendar!! Send your pictures to him at: Spridget.Calendar@gmail.com.

Our other generous sponsors and donors for this landmark event are *Moss Motors, Little Trees, Mequiars, Turtle Wax, Little British Car Company, The BusterCluster & Practical Classics Magazine, Eastwood Co., Stoners Moreshine *, and *Advanced Distributors*!

We are pleased to announce that the Austin Healey Club of America's Kansas City Chapter and the Flatwater Austin Healey Club out of Lincoln, NE are helping to host the event along with the Sprite-Midget Club USA! They are great people and we are very glad to have them on board!

Okay, one last time... reminder... you've got 4 weeks left before the registration fee goes up! Three weeks before the hotel cost goes up! As always, if you have questions please don't hesitate to email us at SpriteMidgetClub@gmail.com or call Jim Johnson at 620.408.6877

See you all at Lake of the Ozarks!!

God, I am getting so far behind. Got work tomorrow and reprogram a dang robot who is not nearly a friendly as my midget :frown: Sunday I will try and finish everything and then hopefully hit the DMV sometime this week and get it on the road. I got to do some "sea trials" before I commit to that kind of drive and all.
