Waiting for the weather in Washington, DC to warm up a bit so I can get out and drive the Healey. Neither the car nor I am that enamored of the cold weather, as a matter of fact, starting the Healey in tempratures below 60F is difficult...a very cold blooded automobile indeed.

Does anyone have any tips of the trade on the "best" cold starting procedure (s) for a MKI with "automatic" choke?

Hi, and welcome to the BCF! It's a little chilly right now to take your Healey out, but this can't last forever. A couple of weeks ago it was in the 60's, and I'm only about 40 miles north of you. Hang in there!
