I took my TR6 out for a ride this afternoon and ended up at the local coffee shop. This establishment is located right near the college in town. When I got into my car to leave, I overheard one of the co-eds announce to her friends
"That's the kind of car grandfathers drive, and my grandfather had one"
Grrrrr :censored:

own it dude!

Thanks for the reality check guys :encouragement:

Elliot, Kid didn't know what it was either, just knew Grandad had one. Grandad didn't give it to him either. Don't feel old, you can get in and out.

Larry- You are right this college age girl didn't have a clue as to what kind of car it was... all she knew was that it was "old".
Heck, if she saw doc's Alfa she would think he's my dad :smiley_simmons:

You got that right!

I work at a college. We had a live in advisor that overheard some female students asking who the old guy is. He looked around and realized it was him! He was 28 years old at the time. Yes, 28, not a typo. BTW, my granddaughter loves the Healey. Can't wait to drive it. I think that they're making a come back.
