Thanks for the info on the "rattle can", guys. It just didn't look original to me.
My B has also been hit front and rear, Doc, and like you, having the use and fun of it is more important than trying to put it in concours shape - even if I had the money to do so. I have been spending my time ironing out the dents and doing what interior refurb I can manage, all the while driving it everywhere I go, as long as it isn't raining.
