Having trouble getting continuity between the terminals when I shift. if I take the switch out and push very hard they work but not in the tranny. What causes them not to work?
 
Dirt, oil, corrosion. Douse them with contact cleaner and maybe you'll get lucky...I didn't look closely at them, but from what I remember they are not rebuildable.
 
Thanks! I only want to do this once so I went down to my local Moss distributor and bought one. Cured the problem.
