I was just checking out my new Moss catalogue and happen to notice that the overdrive in my BN1 has the solenoid bracket for the BN2 on it. So I presume that my BN1 was built close to the transition to the next version of overdrives . And would the overdrive be adjusted the same as the earlier version? Always wondered why mine didn't have a cover over the solenoid bracket!!!

HI RN, Covers over the solenoid bracket came along on the later cars,---Fwiw---Keoke

BN1 cars had a cover. BN2, BN4, & BN6 did not. BN7 & up had a cover. They would all be adjusted the same way.

The BN1 OD had two horizontal read mounts. The BN2 OD had two angled rear mounts.

Does your car have the three speed or the four speed transmission? Two OD relays on the inside of the firewall or one relay on the engine side?

The transition from BN1 to BN2 was around car #228047, but there could be variations.
