Does anyone have a secret on putting these things on ?
Have the special tool et all. Should I take the inner seal out &
replace them last ?
At a standstill on this one

Yes there is a closley guarded secret.........a bit of sticky to hold the clip on the tool
we use butyal tape from an old windscreen kit. The order of install is not too critical, but you
need to have the glass out to make it easy.Just seperate the glass from the channel(clean it!!)
install the channel, do the seals. Lastly fill the channel with ureathane, drop in the glass and
drink something cold and wonderful, you earned it!! The thane sets in an hour or so.

I've done them with the glass in -- I tied a length of dental floss around each one to be able to retrieve it if/when I dropped it. Of course if you have the inner panel off that is not necessary.

The 'special tool' is likely fine -- I used to use a bit of bent hacksaw blade but now have this tool from Lowes:

Made for ripping off siding I think but fine for installing those clips to.

Which clips did you guys use ? I have the ones like those for the inner seals
& the others are stainless with pincers on the ends. Thought I could use the ones
for the inner and reverse them.
Purchased both inner & outer from TRF.
