So the previous owner installed a low volt (prolly 12) light system in the front yard.
There is 1 burned out and I want to add more fixtures to it.
Now most work on a transformer that only will handle so much wattage .
Can i go with a LED that is less watts and use more lamps?
I want to light up a couple more trees.

Anybody an expert?

Just keep the total wattage of the lamps under the wattage rating of the transformer. The transformer doesn't care if they are led or incancesant lamps only the wattage.
