I am in Hagerstown, MD this week and next for work and find myself free this weekend. Does anyone know of any must see British car events or locations in the area to visit this weekend?

The Hunt Country Classic show, put on by the Washington DC MG Car Club Center, is taking place on Sunday in Middleburg, VA.
Follow this link to the website:

Middleburg is about 65 miles from Hagerstown and with great driving roads between the two points, fine weather promised and probably 150+ British Cars on show set at a beautiful farm owned by Bill Scott, operator of Summit Point Raceway, I think this would be your bet.

I will be there, though not with a Healey. Look me up--my cell should be working: 305-793-9467.

And next weekend is the Rockville (MD) car show, another local big deal.

Michaels right, the Hunt Country Classic is a great show, and would be well worth the drive down to it. :yesnod:

I'll plan to drive down Sunday to Middleburg. Looks like a good show.

Michael, i'll give you a call and find you at the show...

Terry, Don't know how far it is, but at Hershy, Pa. this Saturday 10/10 is the AACA East Coast Antique Car Show and Flea Market. The Flea Market usually has many import vendors and the Concors Show is Stunning. Both are said to be the largest in the world.

Terry--

The Capital Area Austin-Healey Club, of which I am President, will be present in force at the show tomorrow.

Depending on which direction you approach the gate from you might see our sign draped over the fence. In any case we usually have about 15-20 Big Healeys present, plus usually another 5 Spridgets that are sometimes parked in a different section, sometimes adjacent.

We will conduct a very short monthly Business Meeting at 11:30 AM to which you are invited, and following that we have our traditional baked goods tasting contest comprised of stuff submitted by members and their wives--usually very yummy stuff. If you feel you would like to serve as the guest judge I might be able to arrange it. The prize for you is that you get to taste everything first.

Again I will have my cellphone with me (305-793-9467) and will be wearing some shirt saying "Capital Area Austin-Healey Club". Just find your way to the Healeys and let's shake hands--it is supposed to be a very nice day and usually there are several hundred LBC's on the field along with horses, tractors, pipers, etc.
