Out and Out Bragging!

 Yesterday I went to a car show almost in my back yard. It was to benefit the local volunteer fire department and included arts and crafts, raffles, fire prevention demonstrations, etc. I thought it was only a look/see type show. It turned out it was 'judging' show. There were about 30-35 cars, all types and sizes. The largest category was cars of the '50's of which there were maybe 10-12 cars including Agatha. Imagine my surprise when an LBC took a prize and that prize was 1st Place. Agatha was grinning along with her caretaker.
As a side note a friend of mine with her 1961 Morris Mini received a special award, "Clown Car Winner." She couldn't get the grin off her face either.

Added to the excitement, this was during a shower when she and I were sitting in her mini weathering the storm and those in charge had to find us and get us. We didn't mind getting wet at all.

I know, I know - bragging at its finest!

Congratulations. It's great when others recognize what we already know.

Well lets see if the show be in your back yard it don't count Cuz everbody knew you there--Keoke--

Sweet! 1st place, that must feel good. Of course, you can't brag on this forum if you beat Basil's car.

I don't think Basil had his car wid em when he was there.--Keoke- :jester:

I think our esteemed leader, :computer:, had better things to do with his time. I never did spy him there...

Well Judy, I'm trying to figure out if Basil sittin' in front of the computer is better for him or not. Better for us fer sure. Not so much for him.

Way to go Judy. Those stuffed animals and poster boards work every time!

Just joking, Agatha would never be part of such a cheap and tawdry display. She really is a very pretty, very red Healey 100M, judges just find her irresistable.

Bill

:thankyousign: Bill. You are of course correct those stuffed animals work every time! I also have made the poster boards larger so they can be read from 10 feet away...

Nope :nonono: them stuffed animals and signs did not have a thing yo do with the win. When a purdy girl goes to a car show in ah red Healey held in her back yard and mesmerizes the judges what else can they do. I still think that was a good win for you--Keoke-

Congrats Judy!
How's about sharing with us, a photo of your car. Being a first place winner and all. Well done.

You can see her car on the Member Photos. By the way your article and photos in Healey Marque this month was fantastic.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Tim.
Beautiful car Judy and well deserving of your "Out and Out Bragging!"
