Triumph on e-bay

Hmmm. The owner himself had the car for sale, wrecked, about a month ago. I think on e-bay, with nearly the same description and threat to part it out.

Now it was supposedly obtained at auction (I doubt it). And the person who bought it at auction just so happened to research the car so thoroughly as to obtain all the exact same information the original owner described in his listing.

I smell a rat.

Still, it might be a good parts donor for someone who wants PRI stuff.

Foxtrapper, do you know the car? I's in your area.

Wonder why he flipped on a freeway. Makes you questions the intelligence of the Prirace parts.

BTW. I saw the owner of Prirace was selling his car on ebay recently. Said he was moving on to new challenges. I had heard that TRF was talking to them about buying it, but that was a rumor.

I didn't see any mention of when the accident happened but last year my son was commuting home on the Beltway from Bethesda to Annapolis and saw an accident with a white Triumph bottom side up. I see where the car is in Maryland and bet it's the one he saw.

No, I don't. And it's only a few miles from my house it seems.

Other Triumph & Spitfire folk around here don't know of the car either. Which is rather odd.
