I didn't know there were that many Studebaker Hawks left, much less racing!
 
Have always loved the looks of the Stude Hawk (or Champion for that matter), specially the early ones. They have found quite a following with the custom car bunch. Have seen some mildly chopped ones that are even better looking than the original design. Saw one a few weeks ago at a car show at Maryhill museum in WA. that had been made into a convertible, very quality job.

We used to autoX on a lot with an area that sort of dropped off from what was an otherwise large level bit of asphalt. I used to set up a decreasing radius corner on the off camber just to see if the 911 pilots knew their cars. Some didn't, very entertaining.
