Today, I drove my B to meet with my 9 yr old son's Orthodontist. Yes, unfortunately braces are in his future and the Dr. wanted to discuss what needed to be done and the cost. I took my MG as it's a beautiful day, plus I know the Dr. is a car fan. He has a '70 Opel GT, TR3 and a nice custom bike.
When he saw my B in the parking lot, we must have spent at least 30 mins doing car talk! While doing so I told him the story of how I acquired my Bugeye. Eventually, we made it inside and he gave me the low down on the plan for the braces and cost. Not too, too bad. But at the end, while discussing cost he said " it will cost $$$$ or I'll do it for your Sprite"! LOL! I'm not sure if he was joking or serious. But if my wife was there, I would currently be Spriteless!
