MGB-GT Orphan B Roadster and C GT in NOVA

The Craigs list posting has expired, and I did not save any of his photos. Sorry. I will email the chap tomorrow, perhaps he could resend the pics. If not, I will try to take a few when I go see the cars. Best I can do for the moment.

Here's the skinny. The C GT has been lightly disassembled. Front wings are off, doors I think. It's full of boxes of parts. The C bonnet is leaning on it. There's a B bonnet covering the engine. It's sort of rusty, but it's a dark, creepy garage, and it's hard to see. It's been sitting for minimum 6 years, so it's filthy and the mice have moved in. The yellow B roadster has a hardtop, needs resto, and appears rusty. It's complete, though.

The '69 B could be a ratty driver with application of a pressure washer, freshening up the hydraulics, and sundry little stuff.

He has titles for all 3. I'd say he's looking for around 2 grand for the yellow B and the C as a pair.

There's untold parts in there. Someone (or a consortium of concerned individuals) should bring trailers, a truck, a generator and lights, and rigging gear to get it all. It's a treasure trove of filthy MG parts.

I'm seeing what's up, and going to try to get the '69 next weekend.

Take lotsa before and after pictures, for sure!

Not worth it from your description.

I spoke with the guy today.

The 2 Bs are sold, but the new owner hasn't picked up yet. Seller is getting a bit antsy.

He sold the spare C GT engine and the C GT bonnet. The C GT complete (?) car for resto is still there and for sale.

I imagine there's a pile of parts.

There are purportedly several transmissions and an overdrive in the shed.
