Origins of "Canada"
Following the wooden leg post, here's another:
According to legend, Canada was named during the first meeting of it's then new Parliment. It was decided the country was to only have three letters in it's name. The new Parliment leader stood up and said "I propose we name our new country "C" eh, "N" eh, "D" eh." The rest is history! :laugh:
