Being the glutton for punishment that I am, I volunteered to help a friend re-awaken a 1969 MGB that has been sitting in a barn for 10-15 years.
Of the many systems that will require refurbishment, we have decided to replace the clutch master and slave cylinders as well as the plumbing between the two. Both cylinders are pitted beyond repair. Besides thirty bucks, what are the differences between the aftermarket and original ones? Are the original types more expensive because they are better, or just because they are OE type?
Any input would be appreciated.
