"Original" Healey engine paint?

Can anyone tell me a source for the "Original" Healey engine paint?

Looking at some engines painted with Moss's paint, they appear lighter and yellowish in color compared to deeper green on the BJ-8 valve cover, etc, in mine, which is rubbed off in places.

Thanks for the site.
Did not work for me -- using A-H, all, engine and type green -- perhaps as I did not know A-H 'green color 'name for the paint.
Seems you used 'colorado red', which is a listed color.

I used Hirsch enamel in the Healey green color. There have been a few threads on BCF that go over the color difference between Hirsch and Moss paints and a bit of everything else. Here's one of them ..

Thanks for the info posts.
Tronch; Afraid spruce green & leaf green dont do it for me -- am looking for 'eye pleasing' more than originality.
John Loftus; Since have spray capability, might try the Hirch, tho Qt quantity is way too much.
Guess can also shop for an 'eye pleasing', similar green in auto stores.....

YankeeTR: Thanks. Asked Tower Paint if they could do it from photo, reply was a pretty iffy, 'maybe'.
Will look for a color I like 'off-the-shelf' -- if dont find could try them.

You should be able to find something pretty close. Good luck.

I've found the Moss green will change after the motor has heated a few times to very close to the original green. It loses some of the "gloss" over time.
Just my HO.
