Any one know what was the original color of the carpet in a 1958 Pacific Green BN6?

Welcome.

Basil just added these resource links at the top of the forum page; check this one out: https://www.healeysix.net/colours.htm

What is the serial number of your BN6? Mine is BN6L-942

I'm in the middle of reinstalling the original gearbox, just taking a break for lunch...

Hey RVM,
Like Randy, I have an early BN6 - BN6L964 - and it was originally a
pacific green car. The British Heritage Trust Certificate shows it
as having what the Brits called a gray interior. It's a light gray,
real close to a dirty off white color. I know this from redoing the seats
and finding the original gray leather underneath an old black vinyl
covering. Mine is no longer pacific green but have grown to really appreciate
that color choice. Now it's black over red with red/black piping interior.
Regards,
Mike

Hey RVM,
Just realized I didn't answer your question about the carpet color.
I'll check my heritage certificate tomorrow and let you know what
it came with.

Mike

Hey RVM,
Checked my Heritage Certificate and it simply says

trim - gray

hood - gray

So, I would assume the carpet was also the same color as the trim but cannot
tell you for sure ! Of course, main problem would be finding someone who
sells that color. I believe Heritage Uph and Trim offers the gray color.

Regards,
Mike

The BMIHT certificate will not break down the trim colours beyond the basic statement: Trim- Grey.
If you have a Pacific Green car or a Florida Green car, the grey trim will always have dark green carpets and dark green piping on seats, armrest, dash top outer edges, rear squab, etc.
Heritage Upholstery offers a colour that's close but a bit too light, called Parchment.
Another colour they have over in their German trimming materials that's about right on for the Healey "grey" is called Porche Linen. Get them to send samples.
Another point, if you have a BN6 or BN7 trimmed in grey, the Armacord in the interior was substituted with a tan coloured Hardura, which is a Jaguar colour and material which Heritage also can supply.
