I am going to see a guy today about a Mig welder. It is a Hobart 220 volt. Is this a good welder?

Regards John

Yup. I have a Hobart 110v welder. Great unit. Hobarts are commonly used in industry. They have a good reputation. Right up there with Lincoln.
And parts and accesories are easy to find.

Ok, the Hobart I closed the deal on today is a 187. Looks like new and comes with all the hoses, a couple spools of wire and a tank of shielding gas. I'll pick it up next week. Couldn't haul it today, couldn't get everything in my B. I think my first project will be to repair the crack of doom in my drivers door.

Regards John

You are going to like the welder. I have a 175, welded up rocker panels for the Lancia, built a car/tractor hauling trailer and railings for apartments, etc.
