"Operation CIA" was Burt Reynolds' first major motion picture and was the story of a CIA agent in Saigon in 1964. Because of the security situation at the time, it was actually filmed in Thailand:

If I'm reading it right, the ad is 4 1/2 years old. Too bad, as the Burt Reynolds connection could add some $ if brought to the US.
 
Looks like the same car to me, but the antenna (with the flag in the movie) on the passenger side is missing. Interesting find. I wonder where that car is now.
 
The car took those dips and bumps very well. My BJ7 would have left the muffler sitting in the road.
