Again,
As Watkins approaches, I would like to extend an invite for any who will attend. If you find your self in a situation and need help, I have a shop with an open bay!
Send me a PM and I will reply with a phone number. As I told Banjo, I will be at turn 1 with the Spit ( or the Porsche) and a Green Lotus Esprit.
 
I'll be trying to stop in for a bit on Saturday I think. Depends on if I can wrangle some tickets.
 
About 20 minutes taking the back way to enjoy the twisties.
 
Yea! Johnson Hollow Road! Just don't get stuck behind the Canadians going 35.
I love that hairpin about 2 miles up,and gunning it up the twisty hill right off of 14. Wheeeee! (I'm about a 2 minute drive from KSIS's home base)
 
We are actually going with a group from up North....I don't know what's gonna happen with this weather....
 
It's gonna be wet........ If not from the sky, everything will be muddy. At least the track is up on the hill.
I wonder how many of the rallies will have to deal with detours due to washed out back roads.
This is a LOT of rain for this area.

Going to wings of eagles to see the line up then to the track. First I need to pick up the Spit, had a rocker welded.
 
I gotta work.. looks like no festival for me. Now they want us to come in on Saturday. Grrrrrr! By tomorrow night I'll have 56 hours in this week. No record by any means, but plenty enough for me.(I remember doing 72 hour weeks for Corning Inc.)
I can hear the "cold-ones" calling me at turn 1.
 
Well, I got the day off, butI just looked up ticket prices..... I can't see paying $45 just to come up and bum around for a few hours this afternoon. If they offered a one day pass, I would go, but the only one day pass is for Sunday.
$45 is almost half of the parts washer I'm saving up for.
Oh well. Catch ya next time.
