Well I made up my mind. Dunlop HR4 195/60 R14. So far they look good in my garage. Can't wait to get them on the car. Got 'em for a steal.

Does that mean somewhere, someone has four cinder blocks under their car?

Oh Yeah, nice rims. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

2triumphs has those on his TR6. they look realllly good.
Can't wait to see them on yer B

No cinder blocks around. I just dropped the sucker and ran! Seriously, Hap helped out with the rims and the tires are from Mavis. Hoping to get them on soon but waiting on a few more things to get the car going. Gas tank seems to be the last thing (that I know of).

Coming along nicely, Vince! Just be "judicious" with 'em in the wet... "Dunloops". /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Really? I did as much reading on each of the tires I was looking at and these "seemed" to have the best wet (according to the reviews anyway) Wihtout driving on them I'll never know. When I get them on I'll do some testing on my own and see how far I can kick her out before I go loopdy loop. I plan on making the suspension as tight as I can afford and hope it might help matters.

Photos of wheels on car please!

Not the greatest but I wanted to see what they look like on the car. The car is sitting high cause of those shackle extenions I was talking about on earlier posts. I'm bringing it down to normal.

Really need to see a complete view of the car to see their effect - look nice though!

Now, go back & paint those drums black - hehehe

I was thinking silver but I see what you mean about black. If I do 'em silver it'll blend, if I do 'em black it will really punch them out. Black it is. Full side view tomorrow, right now I have the old shackle off and the new one is about to go in - I hope.

I always paint drums black, except on the GT which has gold. Black is better contrast against just about any color or finish of wheel.

Flat or satin black - no high gloss!

Flat looks too rat rod for me. I use semi-gloss black.

EDIT: I forgot that on these drums I used Hi-Gloss Plasticote. The semi-gloss of this paint was too flat.
