Saw that one over the weekend! Fantastic!!! I see he took the naked picture of his kid out of the add. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/nonono.gif

That gentlemen is a preaty car.

I want the hood emblem.

Sorry... bonnet emblem

ooops again ... I think I mean badge.

How rare is that supercharger and can I put one in my Mini? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Peter

There is contact here in the states for them. I can check when I get home if someone doesn't post it first.

Don't get too fired up over the Supercharger. Its period correct and all that, but it only works well on a 948, and really doesn't work all that well on today's pump gas. It will improve the performance of the 948, but not to equal a 1275 in good shape.
The original supercharger is like wood floors and swimming pools, nice to enjoy, pain to maintain.
But that sure is a pretty car......

He had his son standing in front of the car naked. Granted the kid was holding himself, but not very well. Dunno if he thought it was funny or what??? Still inappropriate!

I'm glad I missed the naked picture ad! I tell you in today's world who would post a picture of a little boy naked on the internet? Wow! Amazing.

I'm sure his (or her) intentions were harmless, however, well said.

Way off topic here, but...

naked baby pictures used to be an American institution. It makes me sad that we have become so cynical/uptight/reactionary that a photo of a naked child causes everyone to freak out. In the the unlikely event that a pedophile is shopping for a Bugeye and sees this kid's picture... so what? How is the kid hurt? How is anybody hurt?

Do people believe that pedophiles will stop being pedophiles if it is harder for them to get pictures of naked kids?

Is everybody afraid that they are going to turn into a pedophile if they see a naked boy on eBay?

I have seen my kids and their toddler friends naked many times, and it has yet to awaken my inner pedophile.

Sorry for the rant.

I bid on an original badge like the one that's on this car. Still did not win the auction with a bid of $800 dollars! From what I found out, there were only 6 Bugeye's that had that badge from the factory. Not sure if this badge is original as I believe the Supercharged is a script writing. The supercharger does take a bid of maintenance and is not practical for a daily driver. It puts a lot of back pressure in the engine, which forces oil out of it (it marks it's territory) and I run 110 octane fuel in my car to keep it cool. There are things you can do, but if you want to keep the original look of the car, there is not much you can do. If you are looking for one George Folchi in Connecticut is the man. He rebuilds them as a hobby, complete package w/ oiler ready to go. As far as the engine, it needs to be stock. The supercharger does not work well with a high compression engine. It puts my stock 948cc engine to the power of a 1275cc.
