Only British Car at SuperNationals

Went to the Supernationals car show at the State Fair grounds today and saw hundreds of very nice (and very expensive) cars. Only one British car (ok, 2 if you count the Metropolitan), was this AH Sprite: (see attachment)

Beautifl litle car...wonder why he didn't turn his hubcap around so the AH was right side up?

hmmmm - is a Metropolitan truely British?
 
I'm no expert, but I thought they were build in England and sold in both UK and US by Nash (American Motors)? Don't know if that qualifies as British, strictly speaking, but at any rate it was the only other car in the show remotly associated with anything British.
