One Year Ago Today

I hardly knew Tony. I had just purchased my Midget a few months earlier and was trying to decide what to do with it. I knew nothing of Midget and did not even know what distinguished some years from others. Tony must have answered those novice questions a million times yet he responded with patience and gracious answers.

That little contact showed me a lot about him. When he passed I did not feel the deep sense of loss so many of you do. But I did loose a very close friend about the same time and understand your loss. Every time I see or read mentions of Tony I am reminded of my friend and feel that loss.

What I am trying to say is all of you have my profound condolences and sympathy for your loss.

As I recall, Tony didn't advertise that he was a Mason and Shriner, something we had in common and talked about a couple of times. What a super nice guy he was! Yes, he will surly be missed by many, for many years to come. PJ
