Basil Plumley, retired Command Sargeant Major, US Army passed away. CSM Plumley served in WWII, the Korean war and Viet Nam.

He had an amazing career. I do have one question for anyone who may know if he already had a master combat parachutist badge why would the army also issue a Vietnam army basic parachutist badge, or was the latter issued by the South Vietnamese army?
