One to Watch

The last car sold for over 5k because it had zero rust, great paint, a good engine and a nice interior. At least according to the guy who was kind enough to go look at it for me.

I'm still smarting over losing it. If only I hadn't had to go out to the relatives for Easter Sunday...

That said, this one is within 60 miles of me. I've asked the guy for more info about the true condition, and if I can see it at the w/e.

If you could get it for under $1500,it might
be a good buy,but I'd want to look at it first.
Also,it says manual transmission,but it's an auto.

I tried to explain that it wasn't worth anywhere like 5k in my note.

I personally wouldn't even go to $1500 unless the engine and monocoque are both sound. We'll see if he gets back to me, but I'm not holding my breath.

On a related note, I see he has a VW, and is that a Sunbeam in the back?
