Okay, the clutch is free, it starts on the choke, I've got an 800 rpm idle. Life is good.

One thing to fix...the charging light is on...hmmmm.

I took the generator apart today and cleaned everything, and put it all back together. I tested it, and it's giving plenty of voltage.

Charging light is still on.

The wiring harness is cracked terribly, and needs to be replaced. The regulator is suspect too.

This has been your update.

We're a couple steps closer to tag and insurance.

Hopefully that's just a simple adjustment of the regulator. I'm always glad to see one of these get back onna' road.
