One Piece Spridget Front Tilt Steel Bonnet availab

A buddy of mine here in Dayton just acquired a steel one piece front tilt Square Body Spridget Bonnet. He is converting the Spridget this came with to an Arkley Kit and as a result this one is up for sale. I have 10-15 pics of the bonnet and it looks really solid and well done. It needs some work to finish up and will need repainting of course but other than one small dent in top front corner looks absolutely solid.

Based on the pics I have it looks like this one mounts with one bolt on each side to the front bumper mounting hole. Stops could be easily adapted as well based on the front tilt blueprints on Gerard's Website.

This one would need to be a pickup only as this thing is too big to easily crate and ship but I'm sure something can be arranged.

If interested drop me a note to jamesgruber@sbcglobal.net and I'll send over pics. He needs this one out of his garage ASAP. I have NFI.

He's got two kits already Trevor plus an Arkley in his garage. He sold his really great Arkley with the 1380 and 5 Speed a couple of years ago to a guy in MN. I almost scored that engine and tranny for Bugsy but missed out. Sigh!!!

An interesting guy who also owns a really nice MGB-GT's with 3.4 V-6 engine and a 5 speed, a literal Q-Ship to fool the Ricer guys. Also just picked up a MG-TF that he is putting back on the road.

Hey did that Blue BE in Louisville ever sell? Restorable?

This first time it sold the guy never picked it up. I do not know what happened the second time he tried to sell it. Restorable? Sure, with MUCH time and money. It is not what I would start with.

OK back to the one piece Square Bodied Front End - Price is $325.00 and well worth this one in aggravation and not to mention labor in getting this fitted all together. Ray's got some nice pics of the work he did in fitting a one piece front end on his Spridget. Work for the most part is already done on this one.

Someone must be interested in this.

how do we get photos?

Hmmm...$325...that breaks down to about 75 cents per hour!

Ray

that's a little high for my labour restoring Ms Triss :wall:

Send me a note at jamesgruber@sbcglobal.net and I'll forward about 20 Mb worth of pictures of the bonnet. This is a good deal as Ray will testify on what it took for him to construct his front tilt bonnet. Again I have NFI jsut spreading the word.

I saw where he posted pics over on the MGexperience trader section.

Thanks Trevor,

I still have pics if people are interested. Too big a PITA to take apart, shrink, and post.
