One of my favorite guitar solos

...HOT summer time Friday night top down mean street crank er up crusin shmoosen for my, my, myyyy Sharona!!!

That definitely brings back high school memories, but I seem to remember them singing more in key. Not that I’m complaining. I think only Nick Nolte has a worse singing voice than me.

Yes brings back memories. I remember where I was when I first heard that album. It is a great solo.

Oh man, that brings back fond memories. I was probably 14 or 15 when that was released. I have the vinyl... somewhere.

My current favorite guitar player is John Mayer. Wife and I saw him in Atlanta and just recently in Atlantic City.

He's not Clapton or SRV or Hendrix, but he'll get there. I also note a touch of John Lee Hooker (RIP) in Mayer's style.

My boss gave me a ticket to go see Rush on the 30th of this month. Fifth row baby! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Right now I'm learning the solo from Steely Dan's "Green Earrings." I had no idea so many of us were musicians here!

I thought SOMEONE here would have the same...weird...sense of humor!

(although I must admit I really like the original song too)

1979! How old is WAY? My 11yr old son just saw him and really digs him. I can't believe he still has such a huge following.

Server's bein' hammer'd, apparently.

Faen' BRILLIANT!!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
