Another "Beautifully Restored" classic. I'll bet the paint job was fresh out of a rattle-can.

Yeah, and no mention of the dash cover falling apart. Look closely at the black paint job on the rear of the car. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

The color is called Java Green and it is an original color. I know a guy that has one that color. It's even worse in real life.

Are you sure your monitor color settings are correct? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif The car I'm looking at is some kind of funky gold. Definitely not Java Green!

Yeah, I was thinking the same. I've seen the Java green (don't like it either) but this paint looks much more gold than that.

Sorry fellas, I was looking at the wrong "gem". Definatly not green, definatly ugly

Ugly, yes! But they lowered the reserve because they realized it wasn't original!

Well, 3 people bid and it never reached what it would probably cost to do the full engine rebuild. On the other hand, how many of us would trust the local rattle can specialist to rebuild a LBC engine? Be interesting to see if it comes back on. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
