Great Photo!!

Nope David, this one's for real. It has not been "Shopped'.

I ran it thru Photoshop down to the pixel level. Due
to the long exposure time needed to capture the image, you
would expect to see some wing motion blur along the wing
edges. The blur is there in a consistent manner.

Cut and paste would yield uniform pixel lines.

My call, this is a real photo.

The unfortunate thing is that even though this is probably a real photo, our reaction is to think photoshop. The fact that images can be manipulated so easily today takes away from great images that are for real. Twenty or thity years ago, the reaction to such a photo would have been quite different.
 
Nailed that in one, Art. Digital imaging (and capacity for manipulation) has turned the "jaundiced eye" into the normal reaction. Pity.
