TR2/3/3A On Road After 3.5 Year Restoration

Marvin - Sounds good to me. We can talk about it after you get back from Florida. BTW Mike - Most US readers on this thread would imagine you drove home in 6 degrees F when I know you meant 6 deg. C ( 44 deg. F).

"44deg" is still a bit cool for this time of the year!!

Your TR does look great & I`m certain it does`nt matter what the temp may be; Your enjoying every minute of the ride.

Happy Motoring & think "Spring"!!

Russ

Hi Don. I'm not too worried about dimples or non dimples, but my car started life in California, and was imported as a project into Canada by previous owner. I bought it disassembled and in boxes. Filler cap could have come from anywhere. Yes it was only 44 F, but cool enough ... temperature wise and also the great feeling it gave me! Cheers, Mike

Mike, it looks fantastic, and its evident from your words and the pictures that you're very proud of it, which you should be. I'm not sure when the pictures were taken, but in the engine shots it looks as though the damper on the rear carb is unscrewed? I just wanted to make sure there were no surprises awaiting you

I brought the 3 to work today - 54 F.....still pretty chilly, but the driving days are dwindling quickly. I kept telling myself the drive home this afternoon will be beautiful.

Thanks Dave, spotted the damper issue but thanks for noticing. Agree Bill, drive every chance you get this time of year. Cheers, Mike

That IS gorgeous! And now that it is back on the road, the only question left is......when do you start the next one??!

Thanks Peter. Not planning another, but there are lots of things I have been putting off on my TR6, so hopefully will get time for those now. Cheers, Mike
