Lets hope he gets it (and the buyer is eyes wide open), but I can assure you from personal experience you do not want to know what is under that paint when you can see rust like that. Yikes.

Chequered Flag has been around a long, long time ... they cater to those with more money than they know how to spend.

Here's another concours item that would appeal to Lou M.

He he ... all that money on go fast goodies; and it doesn't make as much power as stock !

Must be all the drag from the phony sidepipes !

Hey, I had those same sidepipes on my 67 'Cuda - I sure thought I was going faster!

Other than the pipes, for some reason I like the look of the car - those rims are eye-catching. Anyone know what they are? I was thinking maybe Compomotive.

I like the looks of the TR3 too, from the outide, but the "pimp my ride" interior doesn't do much for me!

all of those switches on the dash ... turn ME off. Wonder what he has them all hooked up to?

I certainly hope this "car" is as rare as they claim. I'd hate to think there were others out there as HIDEOUS as this one. What's with the upholstery??? Yuck.

I'll wager five bucks that at least one of them is hooked to one of those "wolf whistles" you could get from J.C. Whitney! Come to think of it, I'm going to see if they still have them..

One good thing to say is that the panel fit is excellent. Check the door and fender alignment, they look near perfect. So the bones are there, just the skin that needs a lift.

That's right next to the one that enables the flux capacitor.

BTW, those "wolf whistles" were manually operated. You got the "woo-woo" effect by altering how hard you pulled on the cable.

For some reason "Boy Racer" never goes out of style; unfortunately. What puzzles me though is why you would want your Great-grandfathers living room to be seen by all the "cool" people.
