SU carbs/manifold for Datsun A-series in San Diego on Craigslist (Rick??). I can help get it if necessary.

Yes that first set looks like mine - which brings me back to the age old question of whether I have a round or oval port head. Apparently there's no way to know the answer except for pulling the manifolds off the head and looking - something i haven't been jumping at doing just yet.
From the ad it seems he is willing to sell any parts or the whole thing? I suppose I will email and ask how much he will take for the intake manifold and SU's.

I contacted the seller, he's only willing to sell the head and both manifolds and the carbs as a package.
Makes sense, that way you can be sure it all matches.
I'm not much interested in swapping heads at this point, though I know it could be done over a weekend unless something went horribly wrong. It's tempting, I know I'd be a lot happier with a set of SU's than with the downdraft Hitachi.
