I know the steak was probably over done for quite a few of you folk. Truth be told, it was a tad over for my tastes too, but it was still juicy.

The Sam Adams was for the Chef, correct?

but of course!

made quick work of waiting for the coals to be ready

Had a very similar evenin' here, a rack o' ribs in place of the steak. Now I see the smoker part of your grill.

That's the way I like my steak! Dead and not still kicking! It's morning and that picture is making me hungry. Shouldn't be able to show that till dinner time! along with Sam Adams :thirsty: PJ

That was my last Sam Adams "Imperial Series" Double Bock beer. All I have left in the fridge now is, I ~think~, one of their seasonal summer ales...

Gonna have to make a brew run before I start the grill up tonight...

:nonono: should still be mooing - nice and rare!

The other night my wife fixed us some asparagus on the grill. She put a little olive oil, salt and pepper on it and then wrapping a bundle of five spares with a strip of bacon.

It was some of the best asparagus I have ever eaten.

Do my asparagus with Balsamic , oil,(Oxford Comma) and a little sea salt straight on the grill

I claim plagiarism!! That was MY Oxford comma!!!

I gotta take pix of th' grill too.

Just finished with Sockeye Salmon and Corn on the Cob and Grill Baked Potatoes.
Washed down with a nice Rose!

that's a slab-o-meat!

I fired two packs of Italian sausages, and a load of chicken strips today. Bulk cooking Sundays so I have lunch for the week; looks like I'll have a couple of dinners too this week!

Did up some rotini al dente alfredo (Mac-n-cheese for grown ups!), and more of that asparagrass; steamed this time...
