And here I went and got myself in hock up to my eyeballs buying a new house.

When I could've saved about a hundred grand and gotten this!

Aston Martin just announced that this little baby is going to go to production.

I can't believe that I am going to type this as I really like the DB9 shape and have been an Aston fan since I sat in one of the original Goldfinger cars when I was a kid, however, I think that those pics make it look like a rice rocket.

I'll get my coat...

I agree. Looks like a Mercedes had sex with a Mitsubishi. Not an ugly car, just not up to the usual classy Euro Aston standards.

Steve, I love ya like a brother and while I’ll agree that they went a little over the top on some of the styling cues – for criminy sake it’s got a freakin' V12 and it’s British!

I mean in my view the new *V8* Vantage was probably one of the most exciting things to hit our shores in a long time from the Aston think tank. Then to be so bold as to shoehorn a 6.0L V12 ala *DBR9* into it - is nothing short of brilliant IMHO!

Heck paint it pink for all I care as long as it is recognizable as an Aston Martin (& it is BTW) I'd take one in a heartbeat!

I guess I'm less impressed with the number of spark plugs than I am with the overall design of a car. Even if it had a W16 I would still think it was an unattractive Aston Martin. Like I said before, I don't find it ugly but it just isn't as pretty to me as most of their past models. The V12 doesn't make up for that.

If I were buying one for racing, I wouldn't much care what it looked like. However buying that car would be mostly for image and to impress people. That I could care less about! I guess that's why there are so many styles of car in the world. Everyone is attracted to something different!

I love it! As far as the Mitsu comment goes, that Aston makes my Mitsu look like the econo car it really is
