I've been having some new old vinyl seat covers for a Tr3a that seem to have hardened. Is there a way to soften the vinyl? Charlie
 
Try using some of the Meguiar's Vinyl & rubber restorer on them. I've had some good luck with it in the past. As with everything, try a non visible area, etc, etc.
 
I'd put them out in the sunshine before anything else.
